The stats are back!  Now that it’s winter, we’ve gone back and relived our journey through the blog and the couple thousand pictures we took while on the Colorado Trail.  That means it’s time for another spreadsheet!  Since this trip only took us 35 days, we grouped everything into one section.  We also distinguished between the days it rained/snowed vs. how many of those days actually got us wet, since we managed to get the tent up just in time to beat some of the storms.  We also added the times we were caught in the nastiest storms and somewhat feared for our lives (relax, it was only four times).

Random stats:

  • Heaviest Pack Weight for Alan = 28 pounds (about)
  • Heaviest Pack Weight for Janel = 25 pounds (about)
  • Most Water Carried = 4 liters for Alan, 3 liters for Janel (when dry camping)
  • Calories Consumed = 280,000  (this is completely a guess)

  • Major Falls (Non-Deadly) = none!
